FAQ’s

What is the difference between 2d/3d/4d Ultrasound?
2D is a typical black and white image used for diagnostic scans in your doctor’s office. 3D and 4D ultrasounds render a surface image only which is much more realistic. The only difference between 3D and 4D: 3D is a still image and 4D is the moving video.
Is Ultrasound safe?
Extensive studies conducted over 35 years have found that ultrasound does not cause any harm to mother or baby. Routine scanning of all pregnancies is now normal throughout the United States. 3D/4D scanning uses the exact same type and intensity of ultrasound as with conventional 2D scanning.
Do I need a note from my doctor?
No, a note is not required from your doctor. However, we do require you to sign a form that states you are under the care of an OB and have already had a normal ultrasound prior to your visit.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
Yes. In order to provide a pleasant experience and service, we do set up appointments for your special day.
When's the best time for a 3d/4d ultrasound?
We believe the best time for a 3D/4D ultrasound is between 26-34 weeks. Many mothers enjoy more than one 4D ultrasound. It is thrilling to determine gender and see fetal movement at 14-19 weeks and then return at 28-32 weeks for facial images.
Can I invite family and friends?
Please do! We know how magical this experience will be and encourage you to share it with your loved ones. A large viewing LCD TV will capture the session.
